Uluslararası Sosyal Bilimlerde Mükemmellik Arayışı Dergisi (USMAD) 2021 yılında yayın hayatına başlamıştır. Yılda iki kez yayınlanan Uluslararası Sosyal Bilimlerde Mükemmellik Arayışı Dergisi; sosyal bilimlerin tüm alanlarından (edebiyat, tarih, coğrafya, psikoloji, felsefe, sosyoloji, arkeoloji, antropoloji, sanat tarihi, siyaset, ilahiyat, iletişim, gazetecilik, hukuk, halkla ilişkiler, iktisat, işletme, ekonomi, filoloji, eğitim bilimleri ve öğretmen yetiştirme gibi) nitel, nicel veya karma yöntemle hazırlanmış bilimsel makaleleri kabul etmektedir. Ayrıca ilgili disiplinin alanına katkı sağlayan deneme, derleme, kitap/makale eleştirisi/tanıtımı ve çeviri çalışmalarını da yayınlayan hakemli, ücretsiz ve online bir dergidir. Derginin amacı, sosyal bilimler alanında mükemmellik arayışı içerisinde olan kişilerin özgün çalışmalarını bilimsel ve etik ilkelere bağlı kalarak alan yazınını kazandırmak ve insanlığın hizmetine sunmaktır. Dergimiz ulusal ve uluslararası olmak üzere çeşitli indexlerde taranmaktadır.

Dergiye gönderilen makalelerin dergi şablonuna göre düzenlenmiş; kaynaklar ve özet dışındaki halinin benzeşim oranının %20’nin altında olması gerekir. Değerlendirme öncesinde intihal tespit programından (Turnitin, intihal.net ya da iThenticate) alınan benzerlik oranının, telif hakkı formunun, etik kurul izninin, ORCİD ve iletişim bilgileri olan makalenin ilk sayfasının ve bu bilgilerin olmadığı hakemlere gönderilecek tam metin makalenin sisteme yüklenmesi gerekmektedir. Çalışmalar tezden veya projeden üretilmişse, daha önce herhangi bir bilimsel etkinlikte sunumu yapılmışsa, destekleyen kişi, kurum veya kuruluş varsa mutlaka ilk sayfada dip not olarak verilmesi gerekmektedir. Gerekli belgelerle bilgilerle sisteme yüklenen makaleler iki kör hakem tarafından değerlendirilmekte olup; makaleler ile ilgili tüm sorumluluklar yazarlara aittir. Dergi, yazılardan oluşacak etik ve bilimsel konularla ilgili herhangi bir sorumluluk kabul etmemektedir. Ayrıca yazar/yazarlar gönderdikleri makalenin herhangi bir yerde yayınlanmadığını da kabul etmiş olmaktadırlar. Dergiye Türkçe ve İngilizce çalışmalar gönderilebilir.

International Journal of the Pursuit of Excellence in Social Sciences (IJPESS) started its publication life in 2021. Published twice a year, the International Journal in Search of Excellence in Social Sciences accepts qualitative, quantitative or mixed-method scientific articles from all fields of social sciences (literature, history, geography, psychology, philosophy, sociology, archaeology, anthropology, art history, politics, theology, communication, journalism, law, public relations, economics, business, economics, philology, educational sciences and teacher training). It is a peer-reviewed, free and online journal that also publishes essays, reviews, book/article reviews/reviews and translation studies that contribute to the field of the relevant discipline. The aim of the journal is to bring the original works of those who seek excellence in the field of social sciences to the literature of the field and to serve humanity by adhering to scientific and ethical principles. Our journal is indexed in various national and international indexes.

The similarity rate of the manuscripts submitted to the journal should be below 20%, except for the references and abstract, organized according to the journal template. Before the evaluation, the similarity rate obtained from a plagiarism detection program (Turnitin, intihal.net or iThenticate), copyright form, ethics committee permission, the first page of the article with ORCID and contact information, and the full text article to be sent to the referees without this information must be uploaded to the system. If the work is produced from a thesis or project, if it has been presented in any scientific activity before, if there is a person, institution or organization supporting it, it must be given as a footnote on the first page. The articles uploaded to the system with the necessary documents and information are evaluated by two blind reviewers; all responsibilities related to the articles belong to the authors. The journal does not accept any responsibility for ethical and scientific issues arising from the articles. The author/authors also acknowledge that the article they submit has not been published anywhere else. Manuscripts in Turkish and English can be submitted to the journal.
